What is XOptima?

XOptima is a software for the vehicle setup and the lap time optimization which implements advanced techniques of non-linear optimal control.

XOptima has been successfully applied to racing cars, motorcycles, and karts and may be easily extended to other type of vehicles.

XOptima utilises computationally efficient vehicle models developed with MBSymba, implements the Optimal Control Problem by means of  a technique named Indirect Approach and find the solution by using a proprietary numerical solver which is very stable and efficient.
